Røros Tweed Åkle Wool Blanket

Åkle is inspired by the tradition of Norwegian wall tapestries. This particular design is inspired by an old Åkle found in the painter Nicolai Astrup’s cabin in Jølster. Colorful edging combined with fringes transform the blanket from merely an interior accessory into a shawl-like garment. We want people to feel “dressed up” when wrapped in an Åkle blanket.
